Alexander Whittenberg is a Designer and Art Director for film & television, theatre and themed entertainment. He is a member of the Art Directors Guild - Local 800.
Recently, Alexander completed work on a 6 month project in Greece for Disney as well as principal photography for a period war film in Covington, GA, a comedic web series in Los Angeles, the second season of a popular horror anthology for Amazon Studios and an upcoming family comedy called Popular Theory and slated for a 2023 theatrical release.
During his years at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase, Alexander worked with and/or was taught/mentored by a number of notable artists including David Korins, Santo Loquasto, Riccardo Hernandez and Ina Mayhew.
Alexander enjoyed a seven year career working for Disney Live Entertainment. His work at Walt Disney World as a props master and facility entertainment lead has brought joy to millions of guests. From the fantastical realm of Frozen to the adventurous worlds of Indiana Jones and a Galaxy Far, Far Away...his time with the company was an invaluable experience that he'll cherish always.
Currently, Alexander is based in Atlanta while hopping between NYC and LA to work on a variety of ongoing projects in development. When not on set, Alexander enjoys jazz music, sampling exotic coffees and performing improv comedy.
